There is a beautiful story in the yogic lore that describes how when Adiyogi utters three AUMs, a whole new creation comes into being. The story is a dialectical expression of the possibility of the sound AUM. Known as the universal or basic sound in the existence, AUM is a combination of the three primordial syllables – “Aaa”, “Ooo”, and “Maa”.
